Climbing kit

    • Jon - something (tiny shit 2 man or better small 2 man, depends when I buy)
  • Stoves and pans
    • Ian - should have 1 or possibly 2
    • DP - can bring one
    • Alex - small stove plus 1.2l pan
    • Jon - great stove, small pan
    • bring as many as possible, so I can get the gourmet skills out in the campsite!
  • Gas to buy (Petrol will have in a can in the back of the car - Jon)

  • Eastern alps classic routes - Ian

  • Austrian Alpine Club membership? £31 (or £41 if you were born in or before 1984... (DP)) For once I feel young (Jon)! Do you have a link for this? http://www.aacuk.org.uk/membership.aspx I assume (DP).
    • 50% (~£10) off hut accommodation
    • Can buy teewasser and climber's meal (cheap calorific meal) in huts
    • Huts have to give you a place if more than 1.5hrs from road
    • Includes some alpine insurance cover
